Integration engineering for ecommerce

Connect your ecommerce store with the systems that manage products, inventory, orders and fulfilment. Bitmerce reviews existing data flows and implements or repairs integrations around the business outcome your team needs.

System ownership: Define which platform owns each important record, field or process.

Data flow: Map how products, inventory, orders and other data move between systems.

Reliability: Add validation, error handling and agreed recovery behaviour.

Testing: Verify successful processing and relevant failure scenarios before release.

Work can cover ERP, PIM, payment, shipping, search and product-feed integrations, depending on the scope of the engagement.

Each integration is defined around the connected systems, available access, dependencies and acceptance checks. Your team receives a clear implementation, supporting test evidence and the information needed to approve release.

Your questions,
answered.

Find out what’s included, how requests work, and what to expect when working with Bitmerce.

01

Is there a limit to task submission?

You can add as many requests as you need, with no monthly task cap. We agree priorities with your team and work on one active task at a time. Larger work, such as a new integration, major upgrade, or storefront rebuild, is scoped and priced separately.

02

Which eCommerce platforms do you support?

We support Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, and Shopware, including Hyvä and PWA/headless storefronts. We can work alongside your existing developers or agency.

03

What’s included in the service?

Commerce Growth includes continuous store analysis, monthly health and growth reports, ongoing development, and supported automated recovery for agreed operational issues. You can submit requests and receive alerts and progress updates through Slack.

04

Will you make changes to my live store without approval?

Development changes are tested in an private non-production environment and reviewed by a senior developer before you approve release. Your team keeps the final decision on what goes live and when. Automated recovery is limited to operational actions agreed with you beforehand.

05

How quickly will my requests be delivered?

We target work ready for your review within four business days once a clearly scoped task is ready to start and the delivery slot is available. Required access, dependencies, and acceptance criteria must be agreed first. Queue time is separate, and larger projects have their own timelines.

06

How do you keep our store and data secure?

Development and testing take place in an isolated non-production environment, separate from your live store. We follow agreed security and delivery standards, including limiting access to what the work requires, senior code review, testing before release, and documented rollback procedures.

07

Is the work done by AI or real developers?

Both. AI helps accelerate analysis, development, testing, and documentation, while senior commerce developers remain responsible for technical decisions, review, and the delivered result. Every development change goes through human review before release.

08

What happens if a delivered change causes a problem?

If our work causes an issue, fixing it becomes our top priority in parallel to your existing queue. Every release includes a rollback plan so your team can restore the previous version if needed while we resolve the problem.

09

Can Bitmerce handle production releases for us?

Yes. We can manage releases through custom deployment pipelines with controlled access and security checks. Before we start, we agree strict release guidelines, approval responsibilities, deployment windows, and communication procedures with your team. Every release includes a rollback plan, and production changes follow the agreed approval process.

10

How do we get started?

Tell us about your store, current challenges, and priorities. We’ll confirm the right service, agree the required access and responsibilities, and set up your request queue and communication channel. Together, we’ll choose the first task and define what a successful delivery looks like.
